Lord Nrisimhadev's Appearance day celebration at the Hare Krishna temple yesterday evening was ornamented with an abundance of spiritual variety.

The festival commenced with the performance of an auspicious fire-yajna (sacrifice)

Visiting for the first time to Vancouver, his holiness Romapada Swami conducted an incredible power point presentation on Lord Nrisimhadev The presentation was embellished with pictures and commentary of recent and ancient places, Deities, pastimes etc of Lord Nrisimhadev.

Another action packed live theatrical performance by the Natya Shastra Theatre Company, transcendentally entertained the temple audience.

As the Nrisimha- Kavaca (protective prayers to Lord Nrisimhadev), resounded throughout the temple room, with the maha-mantra chanted in the background, the supreme Lord in His Nrisimhadev incarnation was bathed with sacred and auspicious ingredients.

Throughout the evening a sumptuous feast was distributed to as estimated  seven to eight hundred guests.
